I feel like I am getting things accomplished. Yesterday I finished another block on a Round Robin.
This is Joan Elliott’s Spring Garden Fairy. She is in the March 2014 issue of Cross Stitch and Needlework magazine. She was a fun, easy stitch. I usually hate stitching the hair on JE’s fairies, but this one was super simple. I love the way she turned out. I stitched her on Johanna’s Round Robin. She is going to love getting this one back. Here it is in full:
Such a beautiful RR. Everyone did a great job on this one. So sweet and sparkly. I will be putting in the mail to Johanna soon..well, maybe..yeah I will return it 🙂
I also finished this pidge scarf for a sweet stitchy friend.
She received it in the mail yesterday and loves it. I knitted it using Deborah Norville’s Serenity Chunky weight yarn. When I first started knitting it, I thought it may be a bit too bulky. But once finished, I think it turned out nice and will definitely be warm during this cold winter. I need to knit myself one in reds to match my coat. The buttons took me a bit to find, but once I saw these, I knew they would be perfect.
So, 2 more projects off of my list. Now on to the next Round Robin piece. What are you trying to finish up?
How beautiful all your work is!! Love that ombre pidge scarf. Love the collection of beautiful ladies. The one you did looks Hawaiian, it is the best one!! I exchanged pillow forms for the right size @ Joanne’s & will get 2 finished. Have to wash the other two covers. The forms are 1/2 off this week. WTG, Ginny!! What is next for you?

Thank you for your sweet comments, Marsha. Good for you, too! Sounds like you are getting things done, too. I am working on my next RR. Started it last night and it should be a pretty easy stitch, too.

Cross Stitch is my super part time hobby. Once a year I decided it’s the greatest thing ever and work on it. I’ve been working on the same piece for years now! This pieces is cute and fun. I could see hanging it in a little girl’s room. 🙂

Thank you, Fawn. The Round Robin is still in my possession. Just can’t seem to let it go, ha! I am trying to finish up another RR and send them both at the same time since they will be going to the same person. The scarf turned out great and I need to make one for myself.
