Stitching Update

Hi!  I’m still stitching along with a ton of other things; stamping, scrapbooking, putting pages in albums, and reading.  But let me show you how my stitching is going on the Mira Mystery.  I am finished section 1!  Finally!  Took me about a month, but I finally can move onto section 2.  Here is how it looked last night:

While the above picture shows the stitching colors better, the photo below shows how the fabric actually looks:

I have seen the mystery stitched in full by other stitchers on the facebook group, and she is a beauty!  Just wait until you see that sweet face!

I also finished this yesterday:

The baby shower is on Saturday, so I finished in great time.  I really love how this turned out!  The pattern is beautiful and while I didn’t think the colors would be great together when I started, I am loving them now.

So it is all ready to be packaged up.  Just have to add a tag and washing instructions.  I also made a card to match.

The nursery theme is owls in these colors, so this card is perfect.

So that is what I have been working on this week.  What have you been creating?

    1. Thank you, Paardje. I am so excited that my edges are pretty straight! That was a very big problem before doing the Spice of Life afghan. I learned so much. And this pattern was so easy and knew right where to put my hook at the beginning of each row. makes all the difference 😉

Your blankie turned out so very perfect for a little one. Well done. Interesting how those colours just seen to come together once the are crocheted up. 🙂

    1. Thank you, Marilyn. I really love the pink, too. Just wish the threads gave me a better coverage. If I decide to do it again, I will definitely use DMC. But it is growing on my and I want to finish it. Her face is so sweet, I just have to get to it 😉

    1. Thank you, Fawn. It doesn’t feel like I am stitching this one too quickly, but I have been doing some other things, too. I’m off to the baby shower today. Hoping the Mom to be will love the blanket even though I didn’t get the colors exactly right. It did turn out beautifully though.
