I recently told you about a new dyer come to town; Fantasy Dyed Fabrics. I received 4 beautifully dyed fabrics from her yesterday and just have to share the beauties with you.
Just look at those beauties!! All 4 are 16ct Aida and about 14 x 15 in size. Perfect size for Mirabilia Pixies or fairies 😉 I have an idea what I will put on the top left one, but will have to test that out at a later date. The others will be ready when the right Pixie comes to mind. If you are looking for one of a kind hand dyed pieces, check out Fantasy Dyed Fabrics on Facebook and on Etsy. What you see is what you get, great prices and quick shipping. And check back often as she is always putting up new fabrics as she dyes them. I have 2 more pieces on the way and can’t wait to see them in person. I already have designs in mind to stitch on them both. I will share when they arrive.
My next stash share is a ton of yarn!
I ordered all of this Stylecraft yarn from Loveknitting.com for a special project; a Faded Painted Rose Blanket by Sandra Paul.
Isn’t it just gorgeous? I just swoon every time I see it. I have never crocheted a granny square and have only ever made a flower or two, but I really want to tackle this project. If you want to read more about it and where to get the pattern, you can read about it on the Cherry Heart Blog here. Now that all my yarn has arrived, I hope to get started on my first square next week. Wish me luck 🙂
What new products have you added to your stash pile recently?
LOVE the fabrics! And the afghan looks so pretty. I bet you can wait to start on that one. Such pretty colors you chose!

Thanks, Johanna. Can’t wait to find the perfect things to stitch on them 😉 I sure I hope I can get the hang of the granny squares. I’ve never crocheted a big project like this but I am in love!

Oh the fun you will have with both the fabric and yarn! At least you have a project for the yarn and it is lovely. I am sure it won’t be that hard to use the fabric, too.

I do hope that my crochet skills are good enough to create this blanket as I do love it so much! And it will be fun finding the perfect patterns to stitch on each of the fabrics.

The new aida is gorgeous! So, she is more true to what you see to order? LOVE the afghan, too!! Would love to make that!! My new stash? S/U stuff, spellbinders, stamps from Unity, stuff from Scrapbookingmadesimple.com. I will get more paper before month’s end & the new Asian set…& maybe the dog & kitty sets-then, I will be done shopping for some time. How are you?

The cross stitch fabrics are one of a kinds, so you purchase what you see. She doesn’t take orders, but she will do a custom dye if you ask her. So when you purchase a fabric from her page or Etsy, you get that exact piece of fabric with the color and design that you see. She is awesome! I can’t wait to start the blanket. It will take a long time for me to do as I will need to make about 108 squares, but it’s something to do in between things. Sounds like you have added quite a bit of fun stuff to your stash. Have fun creating!

I can’t wait to start crocheting squares. It will be a long time before I have a blanket. That is if I can do the squares. But yeah, it is so beautiful! I hope that mine turns out as well.

I do hope that I can stitch up those squares for the blanket. My crochet skills are not the greatest, but fell in love with that blanket as soon as I saw it. Sandra is so talented.

Aren’t they just fabulous? Sadly, I have not started the blanket yet. But the yarn is still tugging at me 😉 Like I said in my previous comment, there just isn’t enough time.
