Today I will share the only other afghan in my possession. I stitched this one up quite some time ago also.
This one was also stitched from a series of magazine patterns, but I’m sorry to say that I can’t remember which magazine. I’m afraid I don’t know the name of the afghan fabric either, but I can tell you that it was stitched entirely with DMC Flower Threads. I’m not sure why those threads were discontinued as I enjoyed working with them. I still have a bunch, if not all of the colors left over. Here is a close up of the cross stitch shop:
And here is my favorite shop:
Of course I would love to eat at this shop, but I love the colors; Pink and blue. Again, this was one of those afghans that had a different shop each month and I think I really enjoy working on projects in this way. I must take another look at the current Stoney Creek Christmas afghan that is running in their magazines right now…Thanks for stopping by.
Absolutely gorgeous! A fantastic job for sure.

Another pretty afghan. I have to admit I have never stitched with flower thread. Now that it is gone, I probably never will get the opportunity.

Both of your afghans are beautiful!
I had started an Angel afghan from the Stoney Creek mags, probably a couple of decades ago. When I moved in with my hubby, I could never find the project. 😦 I was a dreadful stitcher back then, though, so it’s probably a good thing that I lost it. >blush<

What were you, like 5 when you started that afghan? Wow! I don’t remember an angel series. I’ll bet it was involved. I think it would be fun if you ran across it some day.

Thanks, Lori. I don’t know either. I do know that I don’t have as much time as I want to spend stitching. Just imagine what I could crank out if I did :o)
