Hello my blogging friends. My back has been giving me grief for the last 2 weeks so hubby suggested I take a break from stitching as I sit in a weird position. So I haven’t stitched in a couple of days so I don’t have a WIP share. I do however have another mermaid (they are my favorite, you know) to share that I did a few years back:
She is Mirabilia’s Shimmering Mermaid. I stitched her up in 2005 on 16ct Aida. I don’t know the color, sorry. She was a fun stitch and I love all of the patterns on her body as wells as the purple ribbons.
My back is feeling a little better today, so hopefully I can get some stitching done on Sophia’s Reindeer RR this weekend. Thank you for visiting. Have a great weekend and may your stitching be “Frog Free”!
I hope your back gets better Ginny! Back problems can definitely make you miserable. I get my issues with my shoulders and neck. Your mermaid is beautiful. I did her too a few years ago and left off the outer border and compass. My sister-in-law just had to have it when I was showing off my finished projects, so it is hanging in her house in Florida!

I hope you’re getting better!! I know how it feels to not be able to stitch because of things that you can’t control. (Hmph!! It does not make me a very happy person!!) and how good it feels to finally get back to it.
The mermaid is beautiful and I love the compass on the bottom. It gives it a little something extra that not all mermaids have. Simply beautiful!!
