In my last post I told you I pulled out my Passione Ricamo mermaid. Here is my progress so far:
Sorry it’s not the best picture. And now looking at it, it seems I haven’t made much progress even though I am on step 4. I don’t think it will be done in a month, so I may have to purchase another large frame to put the new Mystery SAL on. Here is how this mermaid will look when I am finished:
Just beautiful, don’t you think? This is available to purchase on the Passione Ricamo site. As you can see, I have a ways to go.
I also purchased 2 more of her designs:
They are so beautiful! I am happy to add them to my small PR collection.
So, what are you stitching on today?
I cant wait to see this finished, I find mermaid art so beautiful and have completed one myself. It looks lovely already, the seahorses are so sweet too 🙂

I too can’t wait to get this finished. I am aiming for 1 month from today, but not sure that will happen. The seahorses took me 1 1/2 evenings! They are quite detailed. I am plugging away at it and will post progress at the end of the week. What mermaid did you complete?

I cant remember the name of it but there is a picture of it on my blog under cross stitches. Its no way near as lovely as yours will be. Sounds like you have your work cut out for you, but it will be stunning Im sure 🙂

Looks beautiful already! What fabric are you stitching on? It looks like hand-dyed?

Thank you. I can’t believe I didn’t put the fabric details in my post. It is Silkweaver’s Pixie Dust in 28 ct Lugana. Very soft and very subtle shades of pink, blue and yellow.

It’s ok – I was just curious! Haven’t heard of Silkweavers before. Must check them out – looks like they have gorgeous fabric!

I am quite addicted to Silkweaver fabrics. If you are on Facebook, like them and they have special sales during the week for their facebook friends.
