Happy Blogaversary Give-away

Today is my 3 year anniversary since starting my stitchy blog.  It has been a fun ride and I have met so many wonderful people.  I started this blog as a way to keep track of my projects and share my passion for stitching.  So, to celebrate my anniversary, I have a nice little giveaway that you can win. Simply leave me a comment on this post telling me which of my blog posts is your favorite or which one of my projects is your favorite. I will draw one name to win the following prize:

The prize package includes a piece of 32ct Lugana Solo from Silkweaver measuring 16 x 25 ( a definite mistake in ordering as I don’t stitch on 32ct, but the fabric is beautiful!), The February 2015 issue of Just Cross Stitch Magazine (I renewed my subscription and received this one after I had purchased it) My favorite model stitcher stitched the cover 😉 A package of DMC Color Variations-the Blue Lagoon Collection.  I liked the colors so much I purchased it twice; a couple of Weeks Dye Works threads and 3 packages of Mill Hill beads.

So leave me a comment on this post by March 31, 2015 and I will draw a name from all entries on April 1 and it won’t be a joke 🙂

  1. Congrats on your 3 year anniversary! I would have to say my favorite post of yours would be 10/10/12 where you showcased the block you stitched on my Round Robin! Thank you again for your amazing stitching — and friendship — for all these years.

    1. Aw, thanks Johanna. I am so glad I did that RR so that we could get to know each other. I have learned a lot from you over the years and value our friendship. Your Pixie RR turned out so beautiful.

  2. Silly phone – Section 11 Completed and Trunk of fabrics. The trunkc of fabrics is so beautiful and it has my favourite project so far, the Passione Ricamo Mystery SAL. I love watching it develop 🙂

    1. Thank you, Sewingbutterfly. I LOVE the trunk and am working on filling it up 😉 I received section 12 – lots of hair – but I can’t seem to put Moon Flowers away to get back to the SAL. I will though. Keep watching.

  4. Congrats on 3 years! I only hope that I can blog for that long! My favourite would be your siren and the shipwreck. I just love love love the fabric you picked to stitch her on. She really looks like she is under the water with those colors. And as always, your stitching is amazing!

  5. Ginny,
I love to read your blog and see what beautiful fabrics you are using. I am such a plain jane in comparision. haha Thank you for all your encouragement on my projects. You are a gifted stitcher with a gift for finding the right fabrics to compliment the design. Here’s to three more years of blogging!

    1. Thank you so much, Mary. I appreciate you visiting my blog and your wonderful comments. I totally understand using the plain fabrics. Sometimes it’s so frustrating finding the right hand dyed fabric for a project. But once I do, there is no stopping me, LOL

  6. Congrats on three years! It takes a lot of discipline to keep going 🙂 my favourite posts are about the Round Robins. You’ve inspired me so much that I managed to be included in a Mira this year and I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!

    1. Thank you, paulainauckland. I know there are periods of time that I don’t have much to post, but I have enjoyed keeping up the blog and sharing what I love. And congrats on getting into a Mira RR. If you are on FB, be sure to get into the Round Robin Stitchers group and post your RR and prgress. I’d love to see it.

  7. Hi! Congratulations on your 3 year anniversary! I have very much enjoyed looking over your blog the last few days & find the links for the blogs you follow so useful! especially as I am new to cross stitch blogging!! I would have to say that my fave would be the mermaid with the beaded chandelier- I can’t get over how wonderful it looks close up & from a slight distance! I have never ventured into using beads before & it has certainly given me a few ideas! I look forward to seeing your future updates 🙂
