Hello my blogging friends. What a week! It flew by! I did finish the stitching on Spring Basket, but I don’t have a picture. I am hoping to turn it into a little pillow today. I will post a picture when I get it fully finished.

So, I spent the morning going through the comments for all of my giveaways. I am not very techie so I have no idea about those computer picking things, so I did it old school; I wrote out all the names on paper and put them into a hat. So, here are the winners!

Hello blogging friends! I’m back for my 6th day in a row with another quick post. I didn’t know if I could do it, but I did. It is the 6th and final day of my blogaversary celebration. My last giveaway will be at the bottom of this post. remember to use the special code word in your comment for today and the previous 5 posts. I will draw for all of the prizes on March 31, 2023 and post the results here on my blog. I truly don’t know where the last 11 years went, but I have had fun with this blog. I have enjoyed posting and sharing what I have been up to and reading your comments and getting to know you through your blogs, too. I have really enjoyed my blog and hopefully you have, too. So what have I been up to since yesterday?

Still stitching on Spring Basket. Sorry about the wrinkles, but I don’t really feel like ironing it just to get it all wrinkled again when I work on it later. It is a more involved stitch than I first thought, but I really am enjoying it. I thought about leaving the border off, but I think it really adds to the design. I just have to finish the border and decide how I want to finish it. The next time that I post, it will be a FFO (Fully Finished Object)

Now for my last giveaway. Another cross stitch pattern. Another favorite designer, Country Cottage Needleworks.

Yesterday was my 5 year anniversary of this little ole’ blog of mine!  Wow, how time does fly!  I can’t believe it has been 5 years.  And I have had so much fun and have met so many wonderful people and have been introduced to so many awesome blogs.  So thank you for visiting me over the years and if you are new to my blog, welcome.  I hope to spend many more with you.

So to celebrate, I have a couple of give-aways!  Yay!!!  The first is a cross stitch give-away.  Cross stitch is my passion. And my favorite thing to stitch is mermaids 🙂  So, I have a mermaid pattern from Nora Corbett.  And you can’t have a pattern without a hand dyed piece of fabric.  And I have a beautiful piece from my favorite dyer from Fantasy Dyed Fabrics.  It is a piece of 28ct Monaco and is plenty big for just about anything, sized at 20 x 25.

The second giveaway is a knitting project.  A scrumptious ball of sock yarn called Poems Sock yarn by Wisdom Yarns and a pattern for a Trellis Garter Lace Scarf.

All you have to do to be entered for the giveaway is leave me a comment telling me what is your most favorite or treasured craft project that you have made, and which giveaway you would choose; either the cross stitch or knitting.  I’m not sure I can pick a favorite, but if I had to choose one, it would be definitely be a mermaid 😉  I am just not sure which one at the moment.  I will draw 2 names on March 31, 2017.

Today is my 3 year anniversary since starting my stitchy blog.  It has been a fun ride and I have met so many wonderful people.  I started this blog as a way to keep track of my projects and share my passion for stitching.  So, to celebrate my anniversary, I have a nice little giveaway that you can win. HAPPY BLOGAVERSARY TO ME!

After I posted yesterday, I looked at my archives and realized that a year ago I started my little ole’ stitchy blog.  I checked to see when my very first post was and it was yesterday!  One year ago I started this blog and I have enjoyed every minute of it.  So to celebrate, on short notice, I have 3 little give-aways.  All you have to do is leave me a comment about anything and let me know which give-away you would like to win by the end of day March 31, 2013.  I will pick 3 winners on Monday,  April 1, 2013.  So here is what I could find in my search today:
