I have been on a bit of fabric spending spree lately. This is what I received in the mail last weekend:
Aren’t they just beautiful? They are all from Hand Dyed Fabrics By Stephanie. On the left is Nantucket Sky-I plan on stitching Lavender Lace’s Spring Angel on it. Top right is Enchanted Glen and on the bottom right is Shimmering Pool. They are all 16ct Aida and all are beautiful. My camera really captured the true colors of these fabrics. Not sure what I will stitch on Enchanted Glen. Shimmering Pool is perfect for a mermaid. I have also purchased quite a few fabrics from Silkweaver lately. I don’t have pictures of those, but will have to pull them out and take a picture of the many I have purchased. I think that I have enough fabrics now for whatever design I want. Now I just want to stitch a little on each of the fabrics 🙂 Thanks for visiting today.

So pretty! I have never stitched on colored fabric, but I think you’re inspiring me to give it a try!

To me, it’s no different to stitch on. But it is a challenge picking the right dyed fabric to go with a specific design. And then some fabrics are just too pretty to stitch on 🙂 But the right fabric with the right design can be amazing.
